We are putting three popular diets to the test by following three women who are looking to lose weight. Each woman has chosen the diet that they believe will work for them. Follow along their three week journey to see if these diets can do what they claim… help everyday people lose weight!

Why do you want to lose weight?

I’m recently engaged and my wedding is next year. I have a problem with portion control and I’d really like to slim down for my wedding day.

Diet Plan: DEM System

I decided to go with the DEM system… My eating is all over the place. It’s easier for me to know which foods I can’t eat versus trying to figure out the ones I CAN eat.

Why do you want to lose weight?

I’m a mother of six, and my youngest is just two and a half months old. My weight has fluctuated for a while now. I just really want to lose all the baby weight.

Diet Plan: Plant Based

I am going to do the plant-based diet. It sounds like it will fit me the best… But I’m nervous about it. It’s hard to imagine not eating any meat. I also like that I can’t eat sugars. I know I’m going to struggle with that.

Why do you want to lose weight?

I’m just tired of being the fat girl. I’ve been that my whole life. I’m always the heaviest in my group and I’d like to change that. I’ve tried many diets and got bored.

Diet Plan: Paleo

I’m going with Paleo. I like eating meat. It seems the most balanced out of all of them.
