Paleo OR “Caveman” Diet

What is the Paleo Diet?
Paleo stands for Paleolithic. The era about 2.5 million years ago to ten thousand years ago when humans evolved. We advocate eating the type of foods available back then. It’s only recently that we’ve been eating foods like sugar or wheat or beans and our bodies reject them. So in this diet you eliminate grains, legumes, dairy and processed food. And you load up on lean meats, fish, fresh fruit and vegetables.

You lose weight because you’re eating the type of foods your body is designed to eat. Most obesity is a result of eating the wrong foods. This diet eliminates them and it’s not just about losing weight. You’ll notice incredible health benefits including more energy, clearer skin, and less illness.

We encourage eating:
* Lean meats
* Fish
* Fresh fruits
* Fresh vegetables
* Nuts and seeds

You should avoid:
* Dairy
* Legumes
* Grains
* Starchy vegetables
